Welcome Day-Trippers! Awesome spots to hit off the usual trail when out for the day. |
|
So here's the plan:
You come online and post your favorite hole-in-the-wall spots from all over the United States and Canada to share with other travelers. It could be anything; a little coffee shop that has postcard laden tables or a greasy-spoon restaurant that only makes great pot pies and macaroni and cheese. It can be a unique or bizarre small-town favorite or a music venue that just doesn't receive the recognition that you feel it deserves; wholesome family operations... like a fantastic head shop, or maybe something actually wholesome that really makes your town "special." I really want to see someone find a store that only sells spoons for some reason.
Our goal is to document the hidden flavors of America; leaving out the venues with the financial backing for proper advertisement; but rather to give attention to the cardboard-signed entrepreneur. Lets give the day-trippers of our great United States something of real substance to bring back home with them (and hopefully write about on here).
Please post places you have been that you really liked; tell us a little bit about the place and what it's called, where it is; a phone number and address would be great.
So start posting and don't stop day-tripping! |
